Hi. I’m Sarah. I was born in Louisiana, moved to Texas, got married and had four children, moved to Portland, then to Pittsburgh.

I graduated from University of Portland in 2016 with a BA in English. I got my MFA from the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University in 2020.

Right now I work as a freelance copywriter and editor, and just try to survive in this awful era.

I like reading, binge-watching Netflix, and people who are nice.

  1. I really like your writing about your relationship with your gandmother, mother as you actually feel…I especially enjoyed your thought on the utmost importance and real value of women on this planet. I admire this courage to utter the plain truth. I find your writing rewarding in itself, I can see clearly and I feel better after reading what you’ve shared. Thank you so much for this experience!!!!!! You will surely survive in this crazy times.

I also really like your writing. It’s so honest. I like when you said you don’t feel thirty-eight years old, but your body does. I relate cause I feel the same as a sixty-eight year old. And I like that you still don’t know what your purpose is. I’ve struggled with this as well. Your writing encourages me.
